Hinsdale Village Caucus Online
This site provides information about the Caucus (who we are and how we operate) and local elections (endorsed candidates, voting information). We appreciate your interest in the Caucus, and we welcome any comments or questions you may have about the Caucus or this site.
The Hinsdale Caucus endorsed candidates for the April 7, 2009 local elections. Click on the "Candidates" page above for more information. Four candidates for the Hinsdale Library Board, four candidates for the School District 181 Board, a candidate for the president for the village of Hinsdale and three candidates for trustees of Hinsdale were selected by nominating committees and endorsed by a vote of the full Caucus. All of the Caucus-endorsed candidates were elected by the voters on April 7, 2009.
The Caucus Officer Nominating Committee is currently looking for people interested in serving as a Caucus officer during the next bi-annual term. The Nominating Committee is seeking persons who may be interested in serving as chair, vice-chair or recording secretary. The Caucus has five officers who serve staggered two year terms. Recommendations of qualified, friends, neighbors or acquaintances to serve as any of these available Caucus officers should be sent to info@hinsdalecaucus.org on or before December 18, 2009.
